Oh joy new taxes???!?

OK, I am exagerating to the latest Ontario Liberal Tax Grab Budget, but after last year’s rape lie tax increase most Ontarians are wary when they hear the word budget in the air. So from what I can read (click on the above link for the CBC version of this):

• Post secondary institutions will be getting lots of money. That’s good, will it stop my Alma Mater from constantly telemarketing soliciting money from me (they have been calling me twice a day for the past two weeks)?
• More money for health care, well that ain’t a bad thing by me. I don’t think it is going to shorten my 6 month wait for an MRI, but again, maybe I am being pessimistic.
• Still running a deficit. I need to figure out how to get my bank to stand for me running a deficit every year, no wait, I am doing that already, never mind.
• $9.8 Billion dollars in servicing the provincial debt, WOW! Think if interest rates DOUBLE like they might just, how big a tax increase that might cause? It staggers the imagination!
• Money to the teachers pension plan increased, wonder what that means? They going to buy the Toronto Argos along with the Raptors and Leafs?
• A 100% increase in funding to the Democratic Renewal Secretariat. OK, I gotta ask, WTF is that? How do I get some of that action? I can add that to the Blog no problem!
• 147% increased spending in Economic Development and Trade , I need to see more ads about how I should move to Toronto? If I wait 10 more years, Toronto will expand to include Ottawa.
• In all $3.6B more in spending over last year.

I need to start my own government, seems to be a real money making operation
