Scams

So I found a good site while wandering through my favorite site Lockergnome called Quatloos. This site outlines all the frauds and scams that are being perpetrated on the Internet and elsewhere. I enjoy the daily e-mail from some lawyer in Guyana offering me a sum of cash to help him get some ill-begotten money out of his country, as much as the next guy (if the next guy is Idi Amin), but come on folks.

If the scam is too good to be true:

  • It is, and it’s illegal and you will go to jail
  • It is, and you are about to lose a lot of money
  • It isn’t!

Let’s use our brains folks, they aren’t there just to put our NASCAR hats on –C8j

  1. Well said!! Money can not be earned in the easiest way! But still there are persons who are willing to lose. The scamsters target them more.
