Humor: Choosing your words carefully

Mark Cuban is what I wish I’d ended up being had I made a bloody fortune on high tech stocks and could then buy an NBA team, and write whatever the hell I want without fear of reprisal. Mr. Cuban enjoys being who he is (or at least he seems to), so with that in mind he likes to suggest improvements to things, like this useful memo he sent to the NBA on how to improve their officiating (being a part time Basketball Referee, I must admit, I am never fond of the helpful comments I get from players and fans, either).

Evidently thanks to the above posting, Mr. Cuban has been fined yet again by the NBA to the tune of over $200K, which to common folks like me seems ASTRONOMICAL, however, to Mr. Cuban I would guess it only hurts a little. The moral of this story is the price of free speech is about $200K right now, and going up.

I hope to one day not be fined or sued for that sum of money on the basis of anything that appears in this blog, or anything I publish. This is me ripping of the former CFO of the company I work for, who’s main goal three years ago was for he and the CEO to not go to jail, because of anything the CFO did (litigation is still moving forward against the former CFO, and former CEO I believe).
