Sunday Thought: Money

I found a really good quote for us who keep agonizing over our financial world in Forward Day By Day, a useful booklet I read every day.

No wonder Jesus spoke five times as often about money as about prayer. And everywhere in scripture we hear the warnings: money has power; wealth is addictive. Be careful, be on your guard.
-Edward J. Farrell

I like the sentiment here. Remember that controlling your money is important so that it does not make your life miserable, because life is to be lived and enjoyed. Enjoy life, enjoy your family. Pray! And when your done, get up from your knees and HUSTLE!

  1. I believe that people need to create a structure around themselves, financially.

The structure helps prioritize money along with the other aspects of life. I say structure as it sounds more concrete.

If you’ve got a good structure, mentally, spiritually and financially, your money situation won’t become lop-sided.

It’s important to have this structure in place so that you can control the money in your life, whether you’ve got too much, or not enough.
