When can I stop doing this?

OK, you haven’t been reading closely, this is a lifestyle change you are putting in place, so this is not a 1 day, 1 week, 1 month or 1 year change, it is a life change. If you really want change, you change, you don’t change for a little while and then change back (unless you are a politician, then, I guess you can flip flop and waffle as much as you like).
The changes you put in place with your new financial plan, must be followed and become a part of your day to day life, not just a “quick fix” or a “cut and run” (oh dear, now I am sounding like a Republican). Change, is change, embrace it and know that it is a good thing.
Keep your financial plan on the rails and you’ll do just fine! –C8j
