Given tomorrow is “Love Day”, I mean St. Valentine’s day, let’s have a run around the world of financial blogs and see what has been on bloggers’ minds this week.

Valentine’s Thoughts

• Michael James showed his love for his kids, by talking about Well Paying Jobs for Kids, I pointed out that if you give a teenager a well paying job, why would they want to go to University?
• One Million and Beyond says we should love our money not be Scared of Your Money, loosely speaking that is.
• No Debt Plan continues to show tough love with Can Not Will Not and Why Not where he asks why we aren’t planning and making budgets.
• Nancy Zimmerman talked about losing a love of her life in So Long Adieu Beloved Citizens Bank of Canada, due to her moving to Yellowknife.
• Money Smart Life had some advice for Boss’ on how to show love during tough times in Five Tips for Your Boss During a Recession. I always loved those times and the creative stories told by my bosses during tough times (don’t use too many pads of paper or pencils was a good one).
• Free Money Finance talks about love and money Help a Reader with Money and Marriage.
• Love of money or cash at Everybody Loves Your Money is the topic in Cash is King at My House.
• Ellen Roseman talks of her love of concerts but not of service charges in Ticket Selling Practices Under Fire.
• Davezilla points out that You Are Loved, but do you want to be loved by him?
• Canadian Capitalist shows love for his readers and asks How is the Recession Affecting You?
• All About Nortel shows love for Mike Z. by pointing out No Pay Cut for Mike Z., now that is love.
