Off Topic: Making Some Money

Monday, March 19th, 2007

Yup, I have made some money from my friends at PayPerPost who are part of the blog marketing world. I am actually getting paid to say this, which is the definition of recursion for those of you who don’t remember. I am talking about making money with PayPerPost, while making money from PayPerPost, commenting about PayPerPost (recursion starts again, hopefully infinitely).

So this is even more interesting, I have a badge on my post about making money on PayperPost put there by PayperPost who is paying me to put that badge on my post (and the recursion starts again).

So that Yellow Badge, that Payperpost is paying me to tell you how much I am making from PayperPost, while paying for that Badge? No not recursion, or ironic (sorry Alanis), mostly just an interesting use of colour (that’s with a “u”).

I have made $10 from PayPerPost, posting posts, like this one, which I am being paid for, but I have only done 1, and that was for PayPerPost, which paid me $10 to post a post. That’s about as many times as I could to use the word post in one sentence, if you can do better post a comment.

Budget Day!!! Whoo Hoo!!! Tax Breaks out of Hell?

Monday, March 19th, 2007

Santa is coming in March! Benatar), voters will then go to the poles hoping that the Conservatives aren’t “… praying for the end of time…” to quote Meatloaf, on those same promises. There is your confusing and obtuse Federal Budget commentary for the day (you won’t read something like that in the Financial Post, now will you?).

I did manage to submit my taxes last night so that system is back up on line and running, so now I await to see how correct I was in my submissions. Should be interesting to see whether I get the big audit flag for claiming my 3 kids bus passes each month from September onward. Could be interesting. Stay tuned.
