Bad Unemployment and No Pensions

The unemployment numbers for February 2009 were pretty bad, and private pensions in 2008 lost a lot of value as well.

Some random thoughts about the start of Lent in 2009 in February, about money and such. Lent is a time to begin again.

A quiet RRSP season so far, but it might get crazy near the end of February. That is when the banks go into a full court press on this.

TFSA or RRSP is a question many folks ask, but both have their place in. your financial plans. TFSA seems better for short-term savings.
