Random Thoughts: For all you Mothers
It is Mother’s Day this Sunday and I trust all my readers have big plans for their mothers. An interesting statistic from many years ago was that Mother’s Day was one of the biggest days for long distance phone calls (whereas Father’s Day was one of the biggest for COLLECT long distance phone calls).
Some great mothers of our time:
- My Mother (a saint among women)
- Mother Teresa
- The Queen Mother (anyone who enjoys horses and Gin and Tonic is ok by me)
- The Mothers of Invention
Random Thoughts
The financial community has not embraced motherhood just yet, however some of this week’s better postings can be found here:
- Preet at Where does All My Money Go makes the statement that Fee Based Advisors May Not be More Ethical by Default.
