The Spectre of Denial

There is a great deal of mis-trust of the science community. Some of it earned (e.g. rushing Thalidomide before doing all tests, the Cold Fusion fraud, etc., ) but most of the time science tries to get it right. Thanks to science our lives are for the most part better. Given the Internet silliness of today, maybe not as good as it was. Denial of Science and medical solutions is a dangerous new trend to watch.
